Dave & Buster’s Orlando Opens

The massive brand new Dave & Buster’s Orlando opened in July 2011 on International Drive (close to the Orange County Convention Center).The venue has state-of-the-art gaming along with excellent food and beverage service. The venue also has meeting rooms that can be used for functions or business meetings.

The event options at this venue are plenty ranging from small functions to venue buyouts. The format of various events can be teambuilding oriented or a night of food, drink and entertainment.

“Build A Bridge” Teambuilding Event

This fun and challenging teambuilding event allows groups of 20 to 2000 build a bridge out of basic materials such as cardboard and tape. Participants will utilize critical thinking and teamwork to build segments of the bridge. At the conclusion of the event, the teams will position their segments together to build one, cohesive bridge.

50’s Road Rally Event

In July of 2011, Florida Coast to Coast was tasked with coming up with a unique and creative activity for seasoned meeting planners. One of the challenges of the event was that we needed a creative way to transport the participants to various venues around town during the event.

The solution was to do an entire 50’s themed event complete with classic cars to transport the participants. Participants were asked to answer 50’s trivia and at each stop, prizes would be awarded.

For this dinner event, floor length satin lamour linens in red, orange and yellow were used for the rounds. The centerpiece is a 6″ cylinder with Mokara Orchids and a bed of river rock.

These highboy cocktail tables are covered with shimmering orange taffeta linens accented with embroidered yellow circle. Yellow sashes work well for outdoor highboys. These linens are available in multiple sizes for a variety of table types.

Centerpiece is a 3″ x 6″ glass cylinder with a single submerged pin cushion protea (in yellow & orange) on a bed of river rock and lit with an LED.
